For about 30 years, the University of Witten/Herdecke (UW/H) has been providing important impulses for research and teaching. In addition to imparting technical knowledge and skills, the UW/H aims in particular to teach methods and strategies that will enable students, as generalists as well as specialists with complementary expertise, to adequately and actively meet the complex and permanently changing requirements of the modern intellectual society.
