When I first learned in early 2024 that I would need to inject temperature-sensitive medication long-term, I was shocked. Although the pharmaceutical company provided a free cooler box, its maximum cooling time of 12 hours just wouldn’t be enough.<\/p>\n

One of my children lives in Western Canada. There\u2019s no direct flight, and with layovers, the journey realistically takes 20\u201324 hours from one fridge to the next.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After doing some thorough research, I discovered COOL*SAFE. Their team responded to my detailed and worried questions very precisely and helpfully. I bought the box and tested its performance at home under various conditions \u2014 including using the spare pack of cold packs.<\/p>\n

Still, I was nervous on my first long trip. I had to carry medicines to last for four months, and the cold chain couldn\u2019t be interrupted. But it worked!<\/strong> On every fligh t\u2014 except one \u2014 I was even allowed to store the box in the cooled drinks compartment of the galley, which added extra external cooling.<\/p>\n

Security checks<\/strong> varied from airport to airport. Some asked me to open the cool bag<\/strong>, saying they couldn\u2019t \u201ctrust\u201d the documentation for the cold packs (like in Vancouver), while others just waved me through.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All in all, traveling with the COOL*SAFE box has made it possible for me to travel stress-free, and the cooling duration really does hold up as promised. Just recently, I had another very positive experience with Artemed\u2019s customer service \u2013 a big, heartfelt thank you for such outstanding support!!<\/p>\n
